Afternoon update for 8/25

A couple of interesting stories have popped up since our last update, both of them from the Sacramento Bee.

First, SacBee columnist Joe Davidson talks about the reaction across the valley to Grant and its very successful football program. The Pacers won the CIF State Championship Open Division Bowl Game last year. To see Joe's Hometown Report, click here.

And here's something from MaxPreps.com writer Dave Krider. No local ties, but interesting nonetheless, to hear that the newest high school in Lutz, Florida, is called Steinbrenner High School.
